Painting the Acorns

Just wanted to tell you how I painted the acorns.
1. Go pick them up and clean them.
2. Paint them with white paint (craft paint)
3. Then paint the tops brown and the bottom whatever color you would like.
4. When they are dry put Mod Podge on them and let it dry.


Really pretty simple. The best part is that my grandbabies love to go hike with me and find them with me.

Making something from the LITTLE THINGS.

Look @ these little Acorns that I have been painting. I want to find more and paint them all different colors. How funny it is that you don't even think about doing something like this. But I really enjoy painting them. My thought is I will hang some from our Christmas tree this year. Get some pretty ribbon and hot glue it to the acorn and make ornaments. Just got to go and find some more of them.

Goes right along with my life right now...changing and doing some things a little different. Trying new things and enjoying more of the little things in life. Turning the big "50" this year. Starting this blog in hopes that it will help someone else that is just like me. Someone seeking for change in their life and doing things a little differently. Time to relax, see the little things and enjoy them. Life is just way to short to be unhappy and not SEE with our spiritual eyes what God really has for us. Making some life changes in my life. Boy am I ready !!
